PTI Press Release – PTI Rejects JIT Report on 9^th May

• Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf completely rejected the joint investigation team's report.
• The joint investigation team's report is the continuation of the series of state conspiracies against Chairman Imran Khan and Tehreek-e-Insaaf.
• It is clear from irrefutable circumstantial evidence that the events of May 9 have nothing to do with Tehreek-e-Insaf, especially Chairman Imran Khan.
• The fabricated report of the joint investigation team is a shameful attempt to shield the real perpetrators of the May 9 incidents.
• Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf stood in the Supreme Court after his arrest and condemned the events of May 9, which the court made part of its verdict.
• The Supreme Court declared the arrest of May 9 completely unconstitutional and illegal and ordered the release of Chairman Imran Khan.
• In his speeches to the nation after his release, Chairman Imran Khan persistently and insistently called for a high-level judicial commission to investigate the events of May 9.
• In the light of Chairman Imran Khan's demand, such fake JITs and their reports have no status unless a high-level judicial inquiry is conducted into the May 9 incidents in an independent manner.
• We will take full legal action against the fabricated report of the joint investigation team and we will take all possible legal, constitutional and political means to determine the real persons responsible for the events of May 9.
