1. Justice Delayed for Imran Khan
Imran Khan has been in illegal detention for 81 days, showing unwavering determination. Despite continuous injustices, he persists. In contrast, Nawaz Sharif, a wanted criminal for four years, was granted bail in 420 seconds, while Imran Khan, facing fabricated charges, was denied bail. Chief Justice Aamer Farooq of the Islamabad High Court is pivotal in this matter. The bail decision for Imran Khan in the cipher case, reserved on October 16, remains pending, marking an unprecedented delay in bail cases.
2. Imran Khan's Meeting in Jail
Chairman Imran Khan met his lawyers in Adiala Jail, where Lawyer Ali Ijaz Butar shared that Imran Khan is in good health, and the nation is concerned about him and prays for his well-being. Imran Khan expressed that he's fighting for the people's rights and freedom, recognizing that life and death are in the hands of Allah. Imran Khan also addressed the issue of Palestine. He expressed disappointment in the lack of government-level support in Pakistan for Palestine and doubted that Nawaz Sharif would raise his voice against this oppression. Imran Khan praised the Supreme Court's decision on military courts, stating that civilian trials in military courts violate human rights and the principles of a fair trial. Furthermore, Imran Khan called for a judicial inquiry into the events of May 9, pointing out the one-sided nature of the current investigation, where their side is not being heard.
3. Imran Khan's Request in Cipher Case
The lawyers of Chairman Imran Khan wanted to schedule the hearing of the case against the indictment in the cipher case. Justice Aamer Farooq fixed the hearing after 5 p.m. after pronouncing the decision to restore the appeals of Nawaz Sharif.
4. Hearing on Facilities for Imran Khan
The Islamabad High Court is currently conducting hearings on the case involving meetings between lawyers and the family of Chairman Imran Khan. The Jail Superintendent has established a new schedule for Imran Khan's visitation. "Imran Khan made a complaint in his meeting with me that no privacy was given in the meeting with his wife", Lawyer Sher Afzal Marwat. "These methods are old-fashioned. This was done with Benazir Bhutto and others", remarked Justice Hasan Aurangzeb. The Additional Attorney General said, "the meeting in the jail, should not be used politically". Justice Aurangzeb replied that the meeting should be purposeful and meaningful in which legal advice is given.
5. Peshawar High Court's Decision
Peshawar High Court has allowed Tehreek-e-Insaf in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to hold rallies and workers conventions in all provinces and asked the provincial government/police to refrain from using any kind of force and tactics.
6. Omar Sarfraz Cheema's Statement
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Omar Sarfraz Cheema was produced in the Anti-Terrorism Court today. While talking to the media, he said, "It has been six months and I am still in jail in a false case. On May 9, I was at home, but all the false cases were filed. They want us to hold a press conference. If I had to leave PTI, I would have left then".
7. Dr. Yasmin Rashid's Statement
The brave woman leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Dr. Yasmin Rashid, was also produced in court today. While talking to the media, she said, "Protocol is being given to Nawaz Sharif, while the challan of our cases is not being presented for 6 months. Nawaz Sharif is a criminal and was wanted. He has been brought from abroad for election. If Nawaz Sharif is so brave, show it by contesting the election against me."
8. PTI Leaders Still in Jail
Dozens of fake cases are registered against the leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to keep them in jail for a long time. Today, the local court of Lahore released the central president of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, in the case of increasing the quota of sugar mills. But he is still in custody with Anti-Corruption Punjab. This process is repeated with every leader standing with Imran Khan.
9. Gas Load Shedding Warning
The caretaker federal energy minister warned of severe gas load shedding for domestic consumers in winter, along with rising gas prices.
10. Petrol and Diesel Price Increase
