IMRAN KHAN HELD PARTY ACTIVITIES IN CITY & BRIEFED SENIOR JOURNALISTS
LAHORE, MARCH 09: ( ) Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Imran Khan held party meetings and spent a busy day in Lahore. While visiting to attend women convocation, Imran Khan met senior journalists, columnists and anchor persons where he discussed in detail the present political situation, senate and expected local bodies elections and findings of NA 122 rigging case. Imran Khan addressed office bearers of PTI Lahore District and appreciated the efforts of party workers from Long March on August 14 to shut down of 15th December. He congratulated PTI Lahore President Abdul Aleem Khan on his extra ordinary performance and expressed hope that as soon next phase of agitation would be started Lahorits would express more zeal and zest to make it another success. On this occasion, Abdul Aleem Khan presented a bouquet to Imran Khan as it was his first visit of Lahore after marriage while participants clapped and express their joy. Party leaders Jehangir Tareen, Ch. Mohammad Sarwar, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Asad Umer, Dr. Arif Alvi, Shafqat Mahmood, Umer Sarfraz Cheema, Auon Chaudhary were also accompanied with Imran Khan while senior journalists Mujeeb ur Rehman Shami, Zia Shahid, Arif Nizami, Sohail Warriach, Fawad Chaudhary, Irshad Arif, Imtanan Shahid, Ayaz Khan, Imran Khan, Gareeda Farooqi, Salman Ghani Taufeed Butt and Ch. Ghulam Husain were present in the meeting. Moreover, Imran Khan visited the PTI Election Cell for NA 122 and PP 147 where proofs of rigging were gathered by the volunteers of Tehrik-e-Insaaf. PTI focal person Shoaib Siddiquee gave briefing to Imran Khan on the process of election cell where work was done day and night and lawyers worked hard to prove rigging in these both constituencies.
Imran Khan held a detailed party meeting with the district office bearers in gulberg office and discussed in detail party matters. Abdul Aleem Khan briefed about the party office bearers and working of different party sections. MPA Mian Aslam Iqbal, Jamshaid Iqbal Cheema, Mian Haamed Meraj, Zaheer Abbass Khokhar, Sardar Kamal Umer, Mian Yameen Tippu, Kh. Jamshaid Butt, Mian Iftikhar, Hafiz Farhat, Mian Javed Ali, Syed Rashad Riaz, Furrukh Javed Moon, Sh. Aamer, Dr. Zarqa, Nausheen Hamid, Sania Kamran, Dr. Javaria, Aneela Sajid Beig and Ayesha Khalid were present in the meeting. Party workers gathered on this occasion chanted slogans in favour of Imran Khan and go nawaz go.
