Dr. Yasmin Raashid advisor to PTI Chairman said Inspector General (IG) of Punjab Police Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera???s Thursday press conference has made it clear that he is there to protect the filthy acts of Sharif Brothers and their cronies. The IG has put Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah in the clear in the Bholla Gujjar murder case, saying that the statement of convicted assassin Naveed Commando holds no importance she added. She questioned how could IG give clean chit to Rana Sanaullah even before inquiry on Rana Sanaullah? To fool the public IG has deputed SP-rank officer to probe into murder case she added. She said no SP could dare to probe influential Rana Sanaullah when the top boss of his department has already declared Rana Sanaullah innocent. Unfortunately Sharif Brothers have ruined the entire police with their unprofessional approach and Punjab police is on downward spiral she added. She said during their 35 years rule in Punjab Sharif Brothers have entrenched their people in every public department and destroyed the institutions for their political gains. The people of Punjab now do not need to worry, as PTI is there to protect public interest and would empower the public institutions and would made police depoliticize as PTI did in KP she added.
PTI Information Secretary Andleeb Abbas said even a common man knows that statement made before the court is made part of the investigation and not the statement made before the police officials. Naveed Commando in his confessional statement has made it clear that he killed Bholla Gujjar on the instructions of Rana Sanaullah she added. She said even in the courtroom SSP was pressurizing Naveed Commando not to spill the beans against Rana Sanaullah. On what grounds IG has given clean chit to Rana Sanaullah she questioned? She said every one knows Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera is blue-eyed boy of Sharif Brothers and is a political appointee. Sharif Brothers booted Khan Baig, previous IG Punjab because he was not protecting their political interests and refused to become partner in their crimes she added. She said Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera has made his entry in politics unofficially and got his brother Ejaz Sukhera elected unopposed chairman from UC???135 on PML-N ticket from Okara. Political interference, nepotism and culture of family mafias are being promoted in Punjab by Sharif Brothers during their 35 years rule in Punjab she added. She urged the people to come out and vote on 31st October and reject all those who want to rule them with police. It is a high time for the people of Punjab to take a stand against unjust rule of tyrants and throw them out of the political arena she added.
