PTI Condemns Terrorist Activities Of Sectarian Groups

PTI Punjab president Ejaz Chaudhary said after Government's confession that banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi was involved in the latest sectarian attacks in the country. He said these incidents could have been avoided if Punjab Government had taken action against banded outfits.

He said Government is reluctant to take any action against all those who are fueling sectarian violence in the country.

He said Punjab is the epicenter of banned outfits and a strict cleanout operation against sectarian groups is the need of the hour.

Secretary General Yasmin Rashid said without tackling Punjab and it's banned organizations nothing will change on a national level and Government needs to understand this if they want National Action Plan to succeed.

She said Punjab Government need to take the responsibility and arrest all the criminals who are behind the sectarian violence in the country.

Information secretary Andleeb Abbas said it is sad that few elements carry out terrorism in the name of Islam. She said Islam is the religion of peace; attacking innocent Shia people is outright terrorism.

She said Punjab Government must come out of any illusion about the banned outfits in the province and stop them from carrying out any activity if they want peace in the country.

She said war against terrorists irrespective of who they are must not be abandoned until they are completely eliminated from our soil. She demanded the government to share their plan of dealing with these outfits to stop sectarian killing.
