Addressing a press conference in Lahore PTI Punjab Secretary General Yasmin Rashid said after two-suicide attack in Youhana Abadit been more than two weeks but still life did not return to normal in Youhana Abad. She said post suicide attack incidents has exposed the role Punjab Police and Shabaz Sharif. She said it the duty of the Government to protect the life and property of its people but unfortunately Punjab Government and its administration badly failed to control law and order.
She said people of Youhana Abadgot Shabaz Sharif elected but still he did not bother to visit his constituency. She said Shabaz Sharif is responsible for the whole episode.
She said communities across Pakistan shallremain united in their resolve to wipe out the fundamentalists; religious harmony is the need of the hour she added.
Information Secretary Andleeb Abbas on this occasion said Punjab Police has become personal servants of Sharif Brothers, people don not trust Punjab Government and its institutions. She said crime rate in Punjab is 30 percent more than rest of the provinces.
She said the only priority of the Punjab Government is to build metros and roads Punjab Government did not bother to maintain law and order in the province people are left to die. She said if the things would continue in this way the incidents like Youhana Abad will keep happening. She said Government should take immediate actions to hunt down and punish the terrorists involved.
Shanila Rout MPA, president PTI minorities wing Punjab and Mehnaz Rafi convener PTI human rights commission also talked to media and condemned Punjab Police harassment of Christian community in Youhana Abad.
Shanila Rout said they said that Punjab Police without any evidence picking up Christian children and putting them into jail which is disturbing the whole community and causing the rift between various communities due to un necessary harassment of Punjab Police. She said there is great anger in Christian communitythis may result in mob like situation and civil war.
