PTI Punjab President EjazChaudhary has expressed his deep concern over law and order situation in Lahore. He said the way Mustafa Kanju brother of sitting PMLN MNA Abdul RehmanKanju has killed Zain a 16 years motorcyclist in Cavalry Ground area shows that no one is safe in provincial metropolitan.
He said those who are in power give beastly treatment to ordinary human beings. He said police have not done anything to stop the deteriorating situation in the city, as they are busy round the clock to provide security to Sharif family.
He said PTI???s support is with the family of Zain and if any political influence comes in the way of justice then PTI will be in the streets to get justice for Zain.
Secretary General Yasmin said Shabaz Sharif should open his eyes and see what is going on around him; khadim e Alla should not let Lahore turn into another Karachi she added. She said Punjab government has failed to control the law and order situation in the province; this is all because of pathetic policies of the Sharif Brothers as they consider Punjab police their personal servants. She said increasing crime rates in Punjab present a stark challenge to Punjab government, as it has failed to tackle deteriorating law and order situation in the province.
Information Secretary Andleeb Abbas said perhaps Shabaz Sharif would devote some attention to the attitude of people in his party who behave as if they own people's lives and can take the law in their hands. She said bad behavior of their MNAs towards people and police is a common occurrence and no penalty is given to them on it. She said she doubts anyone at the helm of affairs will do anything, as their sycophants tell him daily that all is well in the province.
She said crime rate has increased quite sharply under Shabaz Sharif government, but his only priority is to build metros and roads. She said Shabaz Sharif is very fond of taking notices and announce compensations for the victims, but the heart broken family can never be compensated with 5 lac rupees. She said this government thinks that human life can be bought with money.
She demanded thatMusrafaKanju should not be allowed any privileges and his trial proceedings should be done speedily to set an example for all these powerful people who think they can get away with murder.
