Secretary General Yasmin said being a poor country where 60 percent people are living under poverty line we do not have any rational for this multi million launching ceremony. She said this Metro Bus project would benefit a few thousand people on a population of 188 million poor masses. But the Sharif Brothers have not kept in mind the benefit people of Pakistan but their own benefit and their closer ones and their businesses.

She said public does not even need these mega projects as they only demand basic necessities but greedy and corrupt government keep fueling billions just to fill the pockets of their cronies.

Information Secretary Andleeb Abbas said the poor nation has no idea how much money is being pocketed by the political elite for these Metro contracts. They keep robbing public money but have no idea how many people are out of their jobs because the industry has almost closed down with no gas or electricity she added.
