PTI leader Ejaz Chaudhary said the callousness and brutality shown by Punjab Police yesterday in Daska reflects the cruel mentality of Punjab Police. This is not the first time we have seen such criminality from Punjab Police, as they did not spare the poor blind people. Barbaric brutality cannot be accepted from morally corrupt Punjab Police he added.
He said how could a police officer in the broad daylight open fire and kill peaceful protestors. He opened fire on Rana Khalid Abbas and other lawyers only because they were affiliated with PTI he questioned. He said SHO Sardar Shehzad has very bad criminal record and was involved in criminal activities, then why such bad repute officer was retained in the police force.
Sharif Brothers have ruined the entire police force for their political gains as Sharif Brothers consider police officials their personal servants he added. He said Rana Khalid Abbas???s services for the party would always be remembered.
PTI leader Yasmin Rashid said such incidents are bound to happen until and unless Khadam I Alla stop poking his nose in the affairs of Punjab Police. She said it been a year now but still killers of Model Town police massacre have not been identified. The Punjab Government is trying to safe its skin by newly forming JITs, why the judicial commission report of justice Baqar Najafi was put under the carpet just because the report has made Chief Minister Shabaz Sharif responsible for the incident she added. She questioned how could the new JIT can give clean chit to Shbaz Sharif and Rana Sanaullaha for Model Town killings. Prosecution and investigation has become a joke in Punjab and PML-N is taking full advantage of it she added.
She said police has got the encouragement from Model Town JIT and they think by killing any one they can get away with it every time.
PTI leader Andleeb Abbas said Daska incident is the result of giving clean chits to the killers of Faisalabad and Model Town incidents. Rana Sanaullaha was the main character both in Faisalabad and Model Town police carnage but he has been made undeclared deputy chief minister of Punjab.
She said IG Punjab is the political appointee of Sharif Brothers so how could he take any action against his political bosses. Punjab Police is only loyal to Sharif Family; they have no concern for protection of common man???s life and property she added. She said ex-police officer Abid Boxer has openly confessed on the TV that he has conducted hundreds of fake police encounters on the instructions of Shabaz Sharif. If chief minister is behind the fake police encounters then one can think how deeply politicized the Punjab Police and can kill any one on chief minister instructions she added. PML-N MPA has raised his voice against Thana Culture on the floor of the Punjab assembly and shown his mistrust on Shbaz Sharif and provincial police. Where an MPA from PMLN cannot get justice how could a commoner get justice in this rotten system she added. She prayed for the deceased and expressed her condolence with the families of the deceased.
