PTI leader Ejaz Chaudhary strongly criticized Chief Minister Shabaz Sharif for playing down the child abuse scandal that has left the poor Kasur people devastated since it came to light. The self proclaimed Khadam E Alla who is such an actor a and who behave like a superman and reaches every where when an incident happens in Punjab but this time he does not have the courage to face the wrath of Kasur people he added. He said the child sex scandal that has enveloped the small village of Ganda Singh Wala has been condemned far and wide but unfortunately Sharif Brothers are just issuing statements while sitting in air-conditioned rooms. Khadam E Alla is adopting sweeping under the carpet policy by just taking notice of the incident and suspending some police officials as usual he added.
PTI leader Yasmin Rashid said she is at loss to understand the mantra of good governance in Punjab. From the last seven years innocent children were sexually abused and filmed and their families had been blackmailed too but there was no one at the helm of affairs was aware of it she added. She questioned can the self-proclaimed Khadm E Alla rise up to the occasion and provide protection to innocent children or is it more important than standing in the flood water wearing long boots for photo session? She said she fears nothing would happen, as the so-called JIT would come out with reasons to justify police, Shabaz Sharif and his MPA.
PTI Information Secretary Andleeb Abbas said spineless and incompetent Khadm E Alla has as usual used JIT to hide facts. Being the administrator of the province he should have the courage to visit the victims families but he fears he will receive the shoe as Inspector General (IG) Punjab Mushtaq Sukhera faced last night she added. She said let Military Courts to handle heinous criminals and who ever are involved must be arrested and taken to the task. Shabaz Sharif and police should be held responsible for not protecting innocent children. How shameful it is that local police officials were colluding with the criminals, and then they blackmailed the parents and now are saying that it was property dispute she added. She said so far callous attitude of Punjab Government and police is shameful. Sharif Brothers in their 30 years rule destroyed Punjab and made it a police state where no body feels safe.
