Punjab Police Continues Shameful Child Abuse: PTI | Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf

PTI leader Ejaz Chaudhary said Punjab Police has become a symbol of shame for the Pakistan and has tarnished the image of the country with its filthy acts. In Nankana Sahib the shameless police first booked a teenage boy in mobile phone snatching case and then a police officer raped the same boy shamelessly in police station building he added. He said Sharif Brothers have destroyed the entire police force by recruiting criminals in 90s. How can the morally corrupt police bring down crime rate in the province when the police itself patronages the criminals, he questioned? He said the dirty face of Punjab police has already been exposed in Kasur child molestation scandal but Khadam I Alla has suspended some police officials and moved away. Noting different would happen in this case the rapist would be suspended and case would be closed he added.

PTI leader Dr. Yasmin Raashid said it is hard to imagine how Punjab police can sink any lower than the point it has already reached because of its callous and dirty mentality. The way the young boy was raped in police station leaves a stigma on the character of Punjab police she added. She said poorest of the poor and marginalized are the most frequent victims of police but this goes on and on unchecked in daily routine. But unfortunately Khadam I Alla is happy with Punjab police performance because the police officials report to him that everything is normal and under their control she added.

PTI Information Secretary Andleeb Abbas said the poor boy who was raped was kept in lock-up for three days without any reason. The police should have produced the boy before a judicial magistrate right after taking him into custody if he was a thief she added. She said Punjab police is on a downward spiral because of an unprofessional approach by self proclaimed Khadam I Alla. In fact this incident makes it abundantly clear that there are no bounds to police immorality in dealing with general public.
She said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police has undergone transformation within two years under PTI government but Punjab police has grown worse through 30 years of PMLN rule in Punjab. She demanded a stern action against the police officer who raped the teenage boy.
