Dr. Yasmin Raashid advisor to PTI Chairman said every single person in the country knows about corruption unleashed by PPP while in government during their five year tenure then why now Khursheed Shah, the leader of the opposition in the National Assembly has appealed to army chief to allow the system to function. Unfortunately Khursheed Shah and entire status quo is the protector of the system of the corruption and such a system is lethal to country???s existence she added. She said rangers operation in Karachi has succeeded in bringing down the scale of violence in the city. Now the crime mafias patronized by political parties is demanding the end of the operation she added. She said inquiry against Dr. Asim into the allegation of funding to terrorists should be conducted on merit. All the fury of PPP leaders seems to be part of a thought out strategy to force Sharif Brothers to choose their side and protect the corrupt elite she added. She said both PPP and PML-N are trying hard to protect their corruption. It is need of the hour to eliminate the menace of corruption from the country and looters in sheep's garb must be sorted out she added.
PTI Information Secretary Andleeb Abbas said PPP and PMLN during last 30 years tried to fleece people at every level and they have Muk Muka on corruption, as none of them would hold accountable the other one. PPP and PML-N leaders have stowed billion of rupees abroad but every time they escape the law because NAB was protecting their interests she added. She said as the Supreme Court and security establishment is tightening around the noose of NAB, the outburst of corrupt elite was predictable. As the corrupt elite has never been held accountable for their shady deeds, as for them democracy is loot and plunder she added. She said she hopes this time there would be no NRO and military establishment and NAB will see these corrupt faces to conclusion under this fresh drive to eliminate corruption as people want to see big fish taken to task to deter corruption once and for all. Asif Zardari???s statement is a charge sheet against Sharif Brothers, Ishaq Dar and Provincial Minister Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan and people want to see action against them she added.
