Dr. Yasmin Raashid advisor to PTI Chairman said as always Khadam A Alla has taken strict notice of alleged sale of pork meat in Lahore and has ordered so-called indiscriminate action against the elements involved in the trade. All of sudden Khadam A Alla woke up and ordered action on media report of an incident she added. She said sale of pork and donkey meat in an Islamic country is a big disgrace for Sharif Brothers who have never kept a check on these things for the past 30 years and were only busy in making roads and getting commissions. Shaabaz Sharif is seldom found in Lahore and by sitting in London trying to run the affairs of the provincial government via videoconferences she added. She said unfortunately we have no system in placed to control such crimes. She questioned where do we the Pakistanis stand on this and should we keep eating this Haram meat?
PTI Information Secretary Andleeb Abbas said how some one in a Muslim country could supply pork meat for consumption in the market. She said ruling elite has always shut its eyes and brains when it comes to matters, which really needs to be taken care of when it has something to do with faith. Why Khadam A Alla is shy to take responsibility and passing on the buck somewhere else she questioned? She said government should keep a tap on the meat being sold in market and should bring those people to justice who are selling pork and donkey meat knowingly. She said if this heinous crime is going unchecked in provincial metropolitan one could imagine the situation in the far off areas of the province. Punjab Food Authority needs to come out of Lahore and check the other cities also she added. She said spurious milk and food adulteration is also going unchecked in the province and Chief Minster cannot control this heinous crime via videoconferences. Hamza Shabaz son of Chief Minster is also in poultry business and growing the chicken in one month by injecting chemicals for abnormal growth that also needs to be checked she added.
