PTI Punjab President Mr. Ejaz Ch chaired a meeting of office holders at the Punjab secretariat and unanimously decided to help the IDPs of North Waziristan. He said that the IDPs are our unfortunate brothers and sisters who are sacrificing for the country and it is a duty of all patriotic Pakistanis to ease their sufferings. A committee, headed by Dr Yasmin Rashid General Secretary Punjab, was formed to make arrangements for this noble cause. This committee will motivate and encourage the party ranks and other donors to make donations of all kinds including eatables, clothes, medicines and cash for the homeless IDPs. The committee will further ensure the delivery of these donations to the deserving IDPs. Donations can be made at the PTI Punjab secretariat at 29/A-1, Model Town extension, Lahore.
Later the PTI Punjab President met party leadership from different cities and districts. Amir Goreja from DG Khan, Maj Munir Bhatti from Kasur, Nazir Swabi from Sargodha and Nadeem Gujjar from Gujrat met the Punjab President and discussed party affairs.
