Chairman Imran Khan tweets about the Kumrat Valley tourist spot

Here is what he said 

"This is Kumrat Valley in Upper Dir KP. Pakistan has the greatest untapped potential in tourism. InshaAllah PTI will open 4 new tourist resorts like Kumrat every year. And we will promote eco tourism which will ensure our environment is protected"

Tourism, is the next multi-billion rupees industry of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, the number of domestic and International tourists visiting Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have massively increased, 63% increase in Tourism was recorded in Galiyat 1 year back, the provision of basic facilities like Camping Pods in Thandiani, Sharan, Bishigram and Kumrat, opening of Government Rest houses for public, eliminating NOC condition for foreigners and better communication has led to an increase in the number of tourists and ultimately increasing the employment opportunities for the locals leading to a decrease in Povert

The four-day Qaqlasht festival in Upper Chitral kicked off today.

KP Government organizing the festival which includes different sports competitions including polo, sports for the physically challenged persons, traditional food stalls, cultural show, tug-of-war, skate shooting, marathon race, volleyball, cricket, football, and music night.

Qaqlasht Festival arrangements underway in Chital ; the festival will take place from 12th April and continue till 15th April
