- Everything Imran Khan said about the London plan has been proven true. Chairman Imran Khan had already informed the nation about the details of the "London Plan" on many occasions. With the return of the fugitive Nawaz Sharif, the plan is going in the same manner as expected. It is not possible to influence public opinion through the wasteful use of state protocol, government resources and tax money to facilitate a convicted criminal. The people are not ready to accept anything less than holding of free, fair and transparent elections.
- Seventy-seven days have elapsed since the unlawful imprisonment of Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf and former Prime Minister Imran Khan. Imran Khan continues to endure judicial injustices. Justice Aamer Farooq has been withholding decisions in Imran Khan's cases, with several months passing after the conclusion of hearings. This pattern persists in both the bail and dismissal of the cipher case. It has been a week since the conclusion of the hearing, but the verdict remains reserved, and Justice Aamer Farooq is still unwilling to issue a decision. The illegal imprisonment trial for the cipher case is set to commence tomorrow.
- Imran Khan was finally allowed to speak to his sons. Chairman Imran Khan had a telephone conversation with his sons from Adiala Jail that lasted for 30 minutes. According to prison sources, Suleman and Qasim became emotional while talking to their father in jail. Imran Khan smiled and comforted them.
- Nawaz Sharif once again made disrespectful comments about women in his jalsa, showing that he has not changed a bit. He believes that only his daughter Maryam should engage in politics and be respected. The issue of disrespect toward women within the PML-N is deeply rooted. When other male leaders in the PMLN target women politicians, there is a disturbing lack of protest, with some even applauding these actions. Unfortunately, it seems there is an ongoing effort by the state to promote this man with such a mentality.
- Fascism has reached an extreme as the authorities attempted to arrest Bushra Bibi's brother, seemingly as part of an effort to weaken Imran Khan. This recent raid on the house of Imran Khan's wife's brother was unsuccessful in making the arrest. Notably, neither Bushra Bibi nor her brother are involved in politics, yet they find themselves being targeted.
- The state provided protocol for Nawaz Sharif's rally while police forcefully disrupted a Tehreek-e-Insaf workers' convention. Masked policemen entered the organizer's house late at night, with Advocate Afzal inquiring about Azim Pahat's location. These masked officers also harassed and vandalized the women in the house. It raises the question of whether permits for public gatherings and processions in the country are now restricted to criminals.
- Despite having the resources of the entire state at its disposal, the rally of Nawaz Sharif, who has a criminal record, failed to sway the public opinion. Dawn News reported that the PML-N's gathering had little impact on the people of Lahore. The atmosphere in the city remained casual, with little interest from the youth. There were no rallies held across Lahore; instead, the Jalsa took place in a corner of the city, with workers brought in from various parts of the country. In contrast, when PTI's youth gathered, they generated a vibrant political atmosphere throughout the day, playing party anthems and leaving a lasting impression on the people. Dawn's news report, without naming the PML-N leader, suggested that he acknowledges Nawaz Sharif's disconnect with the youth, as he is surrounded by older individuals with old-fashioned mindsets. The PML-N failed to make a significant psychological impact on the people of Lahore.
- Police violence against journalists reporting on the Tehreek-e-Insaf's workers' convention is deeply concerning. It's evident that the Punjab Police, who seemed to be under the influence of Nawaz Sharif's agenda the previous day, have now turned their aggression towards ordinary Pakistanis. They not only mistreated Tehreek-e-Insaf workers but also targeted and intimidated journalists who were documenting the police brutality.
- The trial of civilians in military courts continues, despite a previous Supreme Court order. In a report submitted by the government to the Supreme Court, it was acknowledged that civilian trials have commenced in military courts, contrary to the Attorney General's assurance to the Supreme Court. Disturbingly, reports indicate that even a 17-year-old youth is undergoing a trial in a military court. The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear the case regarding civilian trials in military courts starting tomorrow.
- Gas prices are likely to increase by 193%. Sources say that the summary of the rise in gas prices will be presented in the meeting of the economic coordination committee of the cabinet on Monday. The petroleum division has proposed to increase the gas tariff up to 193% in the summary. An increase of up to 172 per cent is suggested for domestic consumers.
- The PDM government has severely undermined every institution in the country. The financial crisis within PIA has escalated, resulting in the suspension of flight operations due to a lack of available fuel. This crisis led to the cancellation of 26 PIA flights from airports across the country.
