PTI Punjab President Ejaz Chaudhary in his statement said Finance Minister Ishaq Dar???s fiscal management skill has been exposed as PMLN???s Government borrowing from scheduled banks crossed 1 trillion rupees during the first eight months of current fiscal year. He questioned where all the money is going when the country???s largest import product petrol prices has gone 60 percent down.
He said it is obvious now that current Government and its institutions are not delivering, due to their incapable ministers nation is suffering.
Secretary General Yasmin Rashid said with staggering borrowing of 1 trillion rupees there is no transparency; things appear to be beyond control of Sharif Family Accountant cum Finance Minister. She said Finance Minister and the whole PMLN corrupt regime is answerable for sinking the nation in debt while Sharif Family is multiplying their fortunes in foreign countries.
Information Secretary Andleeb Abbas said massive borrowing from scheduled banks would crowd out the private sector and that will ultimately hurt economic growth, which is already in shambles. She said until the ruling elite reduces their wasteful expenditures; make State Bank an independent & autonomous bodyregulating borrowing to prudent level,noting is going to happen positive ineconomic fronts.
She said each person and each child born in Pakistanis would be under further foreign debt of Rs 104000 due to incompetence and corruption of PMLN Finance Minister. She questioned would the money launderers who are in power bring their own wealth from abroad?
She urged Governor State Bank to play his role to end the worst type of fiscal mismanagement.
