ECP Witness Has solved The Mystery Of Extra Ballots In NA-125: PTI | Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf

PTI leader Ejaz Chaudhary said myth of extra ballot papers in NA-125

Lahore is confirmed now as a witness produced by the Election Commission

of Pakistan conceded before the poll inquiry commission yesterday that 30

per cent extra ballot papers than the number of registered voters in the

NA-125 were printed. He said the total registered voters in the constituency

were 429,115 while the ballot papers printed were 550,000. So far what we

have seen during poll inquiry commission proceedings it is obvious now

that the functioning of ECP was chaotic during 2013 general election, he

added. He said ECP officials have only one task i.e. Election but they are so

incompetent that they even cannot perform it in a planned and secure

manner. From day one ECP kept changing its statements on printing of

extra ballot papers but now they have no other choice but to speak the

truth before the judicial commission he added. He said nation also wants to

know why Printing Press Corporation printed more than 4.1 million ballot

papers for 2013 general elections without serial numbers.

PTI leader Yasmin Rashid said Khawaja Saad Rafique who is hiding behind

Supreme Court stay order can no longer enjoy his Railway Ministry. The

election tribunal has disqualified Khawaja Saad Rafique on rigging charges

no this disclosure made by ECP witness that 30 per cent extra ballot papers

were printed for NA-125 Lahore has put Khawaja Saad Rafique in hot

waters again she added.  She said voters of NA-125 want to know on whose

behest these extra ballot papers were printed and who benefited from

these extra ballot papers. She said here question is, is Khawaja Saad

Rafique is more popular leader than Nawaz Sharif? I was contesting against

Nawaz Sharif from his native constituency he secured 91666 votes while

Khawaja Saad Rafique secured 123094 from NA-125 she added. She said

credibility of ECP is under question and it should accept it failure to hold

free and fair elections in 2013.

PTI Information Secretary Andleeb Abbas said PTI movement to demand

justice for 2013 election is finally paying off as the truth is finally coming

out in judicial commission. She said these 30 percent extra ballot papers

were printed for whose benefit as it is not for retuning officer who got

nothing by printing these extra ballot papers. She said Saad Rafique

vehemently says he is not involved in the rigging. What he is unable to

understand is that he is the only beneficiary of all the rigging she added.

She said if Saad Rafique could have won genuinely he could not have

hidden himself behind the stay order. He should have accepted the tribunal

decision and should have gone to the people for elections, she added.

She said one thing is clear there will be no stolen elections in future as

masses are now well aware because of PTI 126 days long sit-in as they

know of how the status quo forces have used returning officers to make

their way to the parliament.
