Metro Bus Project Has Paralysed The Lives Of People: PTI
PTI Punjab president Ejaz Chaudhary said Metro Bus Project has been under construction since last year in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, but its completion is still not in sight due to the sheer incompetence and ill planning of Hanif Abbasi.
He said due to massive mess along the Metro Bus route the life of citizens has been paralyzed and all the markets alongside the route have been destroyed. He said who would take the responsibility of losses, which businessmen have to bear due to Hanif Abbasi.
Secretary General Yasmin Rashid said Pakistan has the expertise to roll out and head such multi billion project but Sharif brothers always appoint their near and dear ones as they can easily get their due share of commission and kickbacks.
She said deliberate delay is meant to milk more money from a poor nation. She added Sharif Brothers always make policies to benefit themselves and their businesses at the cost of Pakistani taxpayers and public.
Information Secretary Andleeb Abbas said one could not hope for any positive work from Hanif Abbasi type of people who are engaged in scandals like Ephedrine quota case or Metro Bus project.
She questioned why PMLN is spending billions on Metros while the poor children die of disease, illiteracy and poverty. She said Government has allocated 44 billion for Rawalpindi and Islamabad Metro Bus project while millions will be required to restore the infrastructures and green belts, which has fallen to the greed Sharif Brothers. She demanded that an independent audit of the project should be done on its environmental impact if PMLN wants to prove that this project is not an environmental disaster.
