She said ill planning of Sharif Brothers always creates crisis situation in the country. Why the so-called experienced team of Sharif Brothers have no idea that electricity demand will shoot up in summers and Ramzan is approaching in hottest month of June she questioned. She said even now they have not realized the extent of the crisis, which is looming and going to hurt more people.
PTI Information Secretary Andleeb Abbas said Khawaja Asif Minister of Water and Power is a partner in Karachi Electric Supply Company, which is severe conflict of interest. She questioned why the government is reluctant to revise its contract with KESC, even when the company was purchasing power at cheaper rates from the government and selling at higher prices to the consumers? She said public should not rely on Sharif Brothers fake promises to end load shedding before 2017 as NEPRA report in February 2015 has already stated that load shedding will not end by 2020. She said Sharif Brothers who could not provide basic necessities like water and electricity to public claim in public meetings to make Pakistan Asian Tiger. She said Sharif Brothers and their cronies are enjoying their lives in load shedding free areas then how they can get first hand experience of having to fast with 18 to 20 hours load shedding. She expressed her heartfelt condolence with the families who lost their love ones.
