PTI leader Ejaz Chaudhary said why we should not call it political victimization of Lahore and Multan election tribunal???s members Kazim Ali Malik and Rana Zahid Mahmood after they decided rigging case against the ruling party. It has been established now that ECP and PML-N have colluded and ECP is working on PML-N agenda he added. He said Sharif Brothers who always harp about meritocracy infect could not tolerate a man of principle and consider civil servants their personal servants. ECP has become a most controversial institution due to widespread allegations of rigging on its members he added. He said the way ECP has approached to Lahore High Court Chief Justice for the removal of Kazim Ali Malik and Rana Zahid Mahmood clearly shows that ECP is getting instructions from PML-N.
PTI leader Dr. Yasmin Raashid said ECP is corrupt and rotten to the core and has proven with its acts a nexus with PML-N. First Sharif Brothers pressurized and forced NADRA chairman to give thumbprint report in Ayaz Sadiq and Saad Rafique's favor, now they have punished tribunal judges she added. She said this is the reason why honest, sincere and meritorious people do not like staying and working in Pakistan she added. Mud slinging by PML-N to discredit Kazim Ali Malik and Rana Zahid Mahmood did not come as surprise to her she added. PTI Information Secretary Andleeb Abbas said this is not the first time PML-N acted in this way but whenever any judgment comes that does not suit them they accuse judges and threaten them. Latest example is when justice Baqar Najafi judicial commission report that blamed Punjab government and Khadam I Alla PML-N not only concealed the report but also went all out to threaten the judge she added. She said why does not ECP ask its members to resign who were responsible to rig the election and have question marks on their credibility. It now imperative that electoral system in the country should be fixed and ECP members should be sent home now so that they cannot rig the by-elections as they are biased and working on PML-N agenda she added. ECP was that very tool of PML-N through which the election was manipulated she said.
