Dr. Yasmin Raashid advisor to PTI Chairman said she does not understand why PML-N is getting so scared of PTI's rising popularity in Punjab. In an unfortunate incident in Faisalabad on Monday night three brothers of PML-N MPA Malik Nawaz opened fire on Sohail, a PTI local bodies candidate she added. She said in the last fifteen-days two PTI local bodies candidates in Lahore have already been killed by PML-N gangsters for campaigning PTI. Whether it is Faisalabad or Lahore, Punjab police is only favoring PML-N men she added. She said what we have seen on Sunday by-election in NA-122 PML-N is that goons were creating mess and number of times they were busy fueling violent clashes with PTI. In democracy every one has a right of politics, PML-N must play mature, and stop its people to create an atmosphere of terror and fear ahead of local bodies elections and stop behaving like MQM she added. I feel entirely disappointed after having seen such street-fights promoted by PML-N to counter PTI???s rising popularity she added. Sharif Brothers utter panic is visible after PTI has given them tough fight in NA-122 by-election and now they want to use same old cheap tactics of police influence and Gundagardi to push PTI candidates because no one has challenged them like PTI for the last 35 years she added.
PTI Information Secretary Andleeb Abbas Sharif Brothers the self-proclaimed democrats are utilizing state funds, machinery and police to push out PTI from the ground. Sharif Brothers should know one thing loud and clear that the more they push, the more PTI will emerge as this is not the PTI of 2013 but of 2015 she added. She said by spreading anarchy and lawlessness in the province Sharif Brothers can never win local bodies elections. She said Punjab police has become a B-Team of PML-N and fully supporting Sharif Brothers to achieve their political goals. Its been a year when PTI activist Haq Nawaz was killed by the Punjab Law Minster Rana Sanaullaha gunman in Faisalabad but still his killers have not been arrested she added. She said how could we expect any thing good from Punjab police when the police itself is patronizing the criminals in the province. Punjab Law Minster Rana Sanaullaha has allegations of target killing in Faisalabad leveled by his own party senior stalwart Choudhary Sher Ali, father of Federal Minister Abid Sher Ali but unfortunately no body is there to question Rana Sanaullaha she added. She said if such incidents are not controlled then dangerous and volatile situation may spiral out of control. She urged IG Punjab to take notice of the situation and put the culprits behind the bars.
