Dr. Yasmin Raashid advisor to PTI Chairman said toothless Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has badly failed to impose code of conduct in NA-122. On Wednesday Minister for Pakistan Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique in severe violation of code of conduct while campaigning for Ayaz Sadiq at Railway colony has announced incentives for Railways employees she added. She said Khawaja Saad Rafique being Railway Minister is using his undue influence on the poor Railway employees and forcing them to vote for his party candidate Ayaz Sadiq. The ECP, which is hand in glove of PML-N, has become a silent spectator, as a simple notice would not do any thing she added. She said PTI's record-breaking Dongi ground Jalsa has given sleepless night to Sharif Brothers and they want to win the election by hook or by crook. The entire Federal and Provincial government machinery is at Ayaz Sadiq???s disposal round the clock she added.
PTI Information Secretary Andleeb Abbas said the way the Sharif Brothers??? entire Federal cabinet rush to focus in NA- 122 Lahore clearly shows how frightened they are from PTI's rising popularity in NA-122. A large number of Punjab government functionaries have been drafted into the service of the PML-N to use their influence in mobilizing support for Ayaz Sadiq but shamelessly as always ECP is somewhere in deep slumber she added. She said police has become a B-team of PML-N and is threatening public to vote for Ayaz Sadiq. Up till now two PTI local bodies candidates have been killed while campaigning for PTI and insensitive police did not take any action to arrest the killers she added. She said politicized police is doing all this on the instructions of Shabaz Sharif so that an atmosphere of terror could be created in the constituency. All the cheap tactics of Sharif Brothers will not work this time as people of NA-122 have already decided in the favor of PTI. Ayaz Sadiq who makes his way to the parliament via rigging in May 2013 election should know that now people of NA-122 are ready to throw him out of political arena once for all she added. She urged ECP to take some concrete steps to stop code of conduct violations from ruling party.
