PMLN Fails on Economic Targets: PTI | Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf

PTI Punjab President Ejaz Chaudhary said PML-N government???s confession that it has failed to achieve its own set target of 5.1 percent economic growth amounts to failure of government???s economic policy. PML-N government in the second consecutive year missed the economic growth target but still Ishaq Dar keeps fooling the nation with cooked up figures he added. He said the so-called experienced team of Sharif Brothers has failed to perform in any sector either it is economy, terrorism or energy crisis. So far their performance is zero and the entire faux pas of Sharif Brothers have been badly exposed by their poor performance he added.

He said the only thing that is growing with fast pace is graft, greed, and corruption in PML-N rule. Finding the right balance of economic policies remains a serious challenge for Sharif Family accountant cum country???s finance minister he added.

Secretary General Yasmin Rashid said unfortunately Ishaq Dar through out the year always comes up with conflating facts and fiction but at the year-end all his hard work goes vain when he misses out his own set targets. She said realistic economic policies, honest and transparent government affairs are required to deal with sinking economy. The improved credit ratings and heavy indirect taxes for revenue generation have deceived the innocent public, she added. She said due to rampant load shedding industrial sector had recorded growth of 3.62 percent during outgoing fiscal year as against the target of 6.8 percent. But still Sharif Brothers have no plans to deal with load shedding as their only priority is to build roads and metro buses and trains, and fill the pockets of their near and dears she added.

Information Secretary Andleeb Abbas said she does not understand what kind of finance minister we have who could not set the direction of economy during last two years despite all time low international oil prices. She said it is shameful that Pakistan economy is based on agriculture but due to anti-farming policies of PNL-N agriculture sector grew just 2.88 percent. The central bank has also cut the key interest rate in the economy by a cumulative 2 percent since November 2014 but still economy is struggling she added.

She said PML-N vision 2025 is gimmick as this so-called vision is only producing jokes in the common public. PML-N has failed miserably and they have done nothing for the public welfare, as only showy projects cannot fill the empty stomachs of poor people, she added. She said PML-N cheap tactics would not prevent this fake and corrupt government from getting ousted after judicial commission???s findings.
