PTI flays load shedding beating all records
President PTI Punjab Ejaz Ch said that government has made electricity the most scared item in the life of people he said that the load shedding hours have increased from 10 to 16 hours and instead of one hour many times two hours load shedding is taking place. He said that the government has totally failed to reduce the load shedding and instead has increased load shedding to an extent where both households and factories have started suffering outages of very long hours. He said that for a common man buy a UPS costs 25 thousands rupees which straight away mean a bill of two thousand rupees per month addition to their already squeezed budget. He said that the government claims of adding thousands of Mega Hertz electricity to the system are as false as the Chief Minister???s earlier promises of reducing load shedding within six months. He said that corruption and mismanagement in the energy sector which leads to massive line losses has completely being ignored that is why the load shedding problem continues to increase with the passage of time.
Gen Sec PTI Punjab Dr. Yasmin Rashid said that the load shedding not only affected households but also critical institutions like hospitals and factories. She said that the increase in load shedding has made the expiry of the medicine as many of the medicines need cool environment which with the constant load-shedding the medicines become bad due to increases temperature. She said that now that the government claims that they have performed well in the energy sector they should be answerable to the fact that why is load shedding increasing at this rate.
Sec Information PTI Punjab Andleeb Abbas said that the water and power minister Abid Sher Ali has been running after other provinces while the maximum of the unpaid bill lying with their own department the parliament and the PM house. She said that the circular debt has again bloomed p to Rs. 300 Billion which is frightening indication that in the month of May, June and July the energy shortage so high that most industries will have to shut down their operation. She said that the government must share its plan of reforming the corruption in the energy sectors demanded that CM again go to Pakistan and sit in the tent to protest against load shedding done by the federal government.
