
Punjab government harassing PTI workers
In a press conference held to share the 11th may preparation details Secretary Information Andleeb Abbas said that the government is now showing its true colors as they are using all techniques of threatening and harassment to prevent PTI workers from taking power in the 11th may protest. She said that in the last one week the PML-N government has become complete which shows that they are afraid of the rigging in the elections they become too difficult for them to handle and thus in their typical way of using their machinery to harass people they have started randomly arresting PTI workers in model town the police raided the houses of 500 workers and told them to stay away from any political activity for the next one week or they may be arrested. She said that the government had also threatened that any transporter who will provide buses and wagons for 11th may will have their licensed revoked and will find it very difficult to continue with their business. She said that this was the mentality against which the PTI wanted to protest as leaders who have come through the back door and not by genuine vote will always use mafia techniques to suppress the choice of opposition and people. She warned the government that if any such barriers are placed on the mobilization of people on the 11th may PTI???s junooni workers and its ILF team will take them on.
President ILF Punjab Mehar Fayaz said that in Rajanpur and Jehlum PML-N had not only arrested the workers of PTI but had also threatened them that on 11th of May a big terrorist attack is planned so that they get scared and do not join the protest. He said that he warned the government that if any attack took place in Islamabad the government will be responsible for it. He said that PTI had prepared its legal teams who were going to accompany the buses going from Lahore so that during the rally if any anticipated harassment, stoppage is done by the PML-N government the legal team of PTI will be present with each rally to tackle the situation and ensure that a safe and smooth arrivals of the rallies takes place to Islamabad. He said that for the last one year PTI had gone to every legal court especially the election tribunal the high court and the Supreme Court and had knocked on the doors but deprived of justice. He said that now was the time for the party to raise the voice through the court of people on 11th May and show them that rigging and a faked mandate will not be acceptable to the people of Pakistan.
