Dr. Yasmin Raashid advisor to PTI Chairman said the entire nation has shown its distrust on the self styled governance of Sharif Brothers. From farmers to doctors and traders have taken the streets against the unjust policies of the government she added. She said the so-called 30 years experienced team of Sharif Brothers has ruined the social fabric of the entire society. It is their third stint in federal and sixth in Punjab with zero performance so far she added. She said it has been established now that all election promises of Sharif Brothers were lies. Sharif Brothers philosophy to hold all the power in their hands has crept into all state functionaries, leading to a neglect of social needs of the public she added. She said Sharif Brothers and their cronies who enjoy luxurious life styles have no understanding that it is always the common man who suffers from the daily strikes. But this sham democracy and its fake representative would never make policies that make life easy for commoner she added. She said health risk allowance is the basic right of medical professionals but this cruel government cannot digest seeing medical professionals happily preforms their duties. Due to this unprofessional approach of Sharif Brothers we have seen historic brain drain of doctors in recent years she added.
PTI Information Secretary Andleeb Abbas said the way public is taking the streets is a glimpse of increasingly dysfunctional government plagued by a culture of complacency in the country. Sharif Brothers duped poor by their hollow slogans and false promises she added. She said the entire system of government is to benefit the powerful ruling elite only. Take any example of public institution and one will finds people sitting on top positions are working there as a conduit of benefiting themselves and their political bosses she added. She said public has the right to demand their rights but unfortunately the problem of this rotten system is that no one listens to public until and unless they are out on the streets and protest. She said doctors the most educated fraternity of the society were manhandled in Islamabad by police. Police torture to curb the voice of the doctors is not the answer of the problem as it has been two days of the protest but still no one at the helm of the affairs has bothered to visit the doctors she added. She said instead of withdrawing health risk allowance of the doctors Sharif Brothers need to tighten their own belts.
