Dr. Yasmin Raashid advisor to PTI Chairman said Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj???s address to the UN General Assembly proves that India does not want peace in the region. No rocket science is required to understand what are the motives of Prime Minister Modi she added. She said India, as a nation has never accepted Pakistan, as an independent and sovereign country, and India would never support peace and stability in Pakistan. Four points given by Pakistan are which should have been much more aggressive than what PM said, were not given serious consideration she added. She said the age old conventional war mongering does not suit either of the country. Kashmir issue is inevitable and pivotal for peace and stability of South Asia she added. She said Kashmiris are occupied by Indians but their hearts are with Pakistan. Indian Army occupation over six decades cannot suppress the feelings of Kashmiris as they stand with Pakistan. India should accept the reality, as those in denial should know clearly that they want freedom from Indian oppression she added. She said she fears there will be no peace between India and Pakistan unless Modi is ruling India.
PTI Information Secretary Andleeb Abbas said such arrogant reply from India was very much expected as Pakistan's stance towards India has been very lax and lenient. Sushma Swaraj???s speech has exposed India's non-seriousness regarding resumption of diplomatic talks. India should know one thing loud and clear that peace in the region is tied with Kashmir issue and there will be peace and terror free atmosphere in South Asia once Kashmir issue is settled she added. She said Pakistan has all the right to raise Kashmir issue and nation will keep raising the Kashmir issue day in and day out. Sooner or later the issue has to be settled as per UN resolution that is Kashmir plebiscite or as per the aspirations of Kashmiri people she added. She said why should Sushma Swaraj???s call the atrocities and killings of Indian occupied Kashmiris a sate sponsored terrorism or an effort to establish peace in the Kashmir. She questioned what India has done against its own Prime Minister Modi, globally acknowledged as a terrorist who was responsible for 2000 Muslim deaths in Gujarat? Indian dream of dominance in the region has turned out be a nightmare for all neighbors.
