PTI Condemns Killing Of Laborers In Turbat | Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf

PTI Punjab President EjazChaudhary strongly condemned killing of 20 labourers in TurbatBalochistan. He said cowardly militants opened fire at the labourers while they were sleeping in their camps. He said Turbat is a sensitive area and questioned why adequate security measures were not taken despite history of labourer killings in Balochistan over the years.

He said Turbat is the hometown of Chief Minister Balochistan Abdul Malik Baloch but the tragic incident speaks volumes about the security situation in the Balochistan. He said Chief Minister instead of resolving the conflict between his party and PMLN should focus on law and order situation in Balochistan.

He said the government must engage all disgruntled Baloch leaders and get them back in the system for long-term solution of the problem.

                                                   

Condemning the incident Secretary General Yasmin said provincial government could not fulfill its promises regarding improvement in law and order in the province. She said such incidents keep happening regularly but no one is ready to take the responsibility she added.

She said federal and provincial governments should take serious notice of the aggravated law and order situation in the largest province of Pakistan. She said if India is involved in the insurgent activities in the Balochistan then the PM should have the courage to raise a voice against this as India does on our internal matters.

Information Secretary Andleeb Abbas said unless the historical injustice is rectified and the legitimate aspirations of the Baloch people are met, the ongoing security situation in Balochistan is bound to assume an alarming proportion. She said if the government is serious and wants peace inBalochistan then they should create jobs, invest more in Balochistan. She said they should stop concentrating only on Punjab and show Bloach people that the government cares by announcing more economic measures for the region.

She said Balochistan???s reserves must be spent inside Balochistan as Baloch people have the first right on these reserves. 

She expressed deep grief and sorrow over the tragic incident and demanded that a handsome compensation package should be given to the victim's families.
