PTI President Punjab Ejaz Ahmed Chauhry said that the government had shown its true face by allowing the police to use batons and violence in handling the protest against missing persons in Islamabad. He said that the prime minister who use to go and sit in the camp of this missing people when he was in the opposition and now after coming into the government they are now mistreating and mishandling innocent people who are asking for their rights. He said that this is the u-turn and the heartless mindset of these leaders who are expert in only one thing which is lying and deceiving the common man. He said that today baton charge on the protesting people is violation of all democratic norms where protest is a routine part of raising their voice.
PTI General Secretary Punjab Dr. Yasmin Rashid said that staging baton on women and peace loving protesting people is not even done in autocratic rules. Thus this government has shown a mentality of the arrogant leaders who use to beat anybody who protests against them. She demanded that the government should immediately release all these people and send them an apology for this torturous mishandling of the missing people protest. She said that if these people are not released PTI would definitely stand by them and ensure that justice takes place.
PTI Secretary Information Punjab Andleeb Abbas said that it is extremely shameful that a person like Amna Janjua who is a national figure for fighting for the rights of missing people peacefully has been insulted by this inhuman treatment of the police who under the instructions of a completely autocratic approach has broken all human rights records. She said that the government has become so full of themselves that in the last one month they had taken on institutions and people in their immature desire to assert themselves by hook or by crook. She said that PTI would fight against this injustice and will protest against this mishandling till the government release and compensate the people who have been affected by these incidents.

In which President Punjab Ejaz Chaudhry, Party Leader Hamid Khan, MNA Shafqat Mehmood, Over Pakistani???s head Dr. Humayun Mahind, MPA Sadia Sohail, MPA Nabila Hakim Ali, Hamid Zaman, Qasim Soori, Sobia Kamal, Sadia Saif, Dr. Seemi Bokhari, Barrister Huma, Malik Amjad Ikram, Jawad Ahmed, Dr. Farooq Tahir Chishtie, Waqas Iftikhar Butt, Farooq Khan, Dr. Zarqa, Sadiqa Sabdad, Ishtiaq Malik and other PTI office bearers were also present.
