In a Statement released from PTI Punjab Office President Ejaz Ahmed Ch condemned the terrorist attack on the Karachi Airport. He said that the government has failed to completely secure the public places and such a high security area like international airport was not safe from the terrorists. It is the moment when every Pakistani is worried that even government has failed to secure such a highly alert building how other areas could be secure. He said that Lessons from the Mehran base incident were not learnt and the airport attack was a repeat of that earlier terrorist attack. He said that the government should accept that it has totally failed to control the law and order situation in Karachi and other cities in the country.
General Secretary PTI Punjab Dr. Yasmin Rashid severly condemned the continuing genocide of Shias in Pakistan especially Zaireen in Balochistan. She said that despite these attacks the government has failed to provide security to the Shia community in general and the Zaireen in Balochistan in particular.
Secretary Information PTI Punjab Andleeb Abbas said that both the incidents were the resultant of negligence of this government which had completely failed to give security and handle the law and order situation in the country. She said that government should come up with a complete security plan to secure the public places like the Karachi airport and the thousands of security men who are giving security to the ministers and government officials should be used for the security of the citizens of Pakistan.
