PTI Punjab President Ejaz Chaudhary said due to gross mismanagement of PMLN ministers electricity shortfall has risen to 33 percent. He said Sharif Brothers and their incompetent ministers are just paying lip service, which is their only policy to tackle energy crisis.
He said Shabaz Sharif has been in power in Punjab since last seven years but has added nothing to power generation sector after 18thamendment. He said Sharif Family is enjoying their lives in load shedding free areas. He said if some one would switch Sharif Family's electricity off, then they may know what its all about.
Secretary General Yasmin said there is lot of generating capacity lying idle with public sector power plants but the government is not willing to give them corruption free governance. Instead they are bent upon awarding rental power plants owners who are their partners, she said.
She said what kind of pathetic governance is this that the government does not even meet public requirements to fulfill their daily needs to keep the household running. She said where is Abid Sher Ali nephew of the Prime Minister who was going to put power thieves in shackles.
Information Secretary Andleeb Abbas said with 18 to 20 hours load it has already started haunting the poor who cannot afford UPS and generators and proper summer is yet to arrive. She said the small towns and villages have already been bereft of electricity leaving no option for the downtrodden people but to continue to suffer under Sharif Brothers cruel rule.
She said government should stop spending on Metro Buses and Metro Trains, and come up with plans to halt load shedding or Shahbaz sharif should sit in a tent in Minar e Pakistan.
She demanded that government explain what has happened to Nandipur and other projects that were supposed to reduce load shedding.
