Ejaz Ch PTI president Punjab commenting on the Musharaf appearance in the court said that it was good that for the first time an army dictator had been indicted of violating the constitution as PTI believes that is above the law regardless of its position and rank he said that president Musharaf case had been prolonged to such an extent that it had now become distractive as the government needed to focus on issues like inflation and law and order he said that the it was apparent that the prolonging of this issue was causing an unnecessary debate and delay as President Musharaf was not to either accept his flaws or not to appear in court when order. He said that this was the problem with autocrat that most of them even when they are not in power believe that they should be given the authorities and protocols while in the democratic role everybody has to obey rule of law. He said that the Islamic ideology also propagated that those who commit violate law have to be brought in line of law he said unfortunately President Musharaf had not only violated the constitution but had also allowed NRO in a desperation to sustain his position. He said that even now he was not ready to accept mistakes and create and give rise to controversies which were masking the government terrible performance in providing food health and energy security to the common man.
Andleeb abbas Information Sec Punjab said that the court had left the decision to allow or not to allow mush to leave the country on the government and it was really now up to the government to announce their decision on it and show their stance towards making everybody come under the same law. She said that it was criminal that the government had announced a raise of 2.5Rs in electricity tariff despite the dollar being devalued and the international oil prices going down. She said that as the summer approaches the load shedding has gone up and so have the electricity prices. She demanded that the government be answerable to why inflation had not gone down if their claim of why inflation and interest rate had not gone down if the government. claims for revising the economy were true. She said that the finance minister Ishaq Dar must explain why a pre audit was not carried out for the payment made to IPP???s. She said that it was to cover this corruption as the government was allowing a delay and a distraction on the Musharraf case.
Moreover Ejaz Ch President Punjab said that NA-108 Mandi Bahauddin seat became vacant because of fake degree case. Ejaz Ch has asked interested candidates to submit applications in Party Punjab office upto 10 april for the by election NA-108 going to be held on 22 May, 2014.
