PTI warns PML-N on underpass remodeling
Ejaz Ch President Punjab PTI Commenting on the remodeling underpass project PML-N government said that the corruption and greed of the PML- government has now been exposed that underpasses and road starting from Dharampura to Thokar Niaz Baig are being remodeled despite the fact that they are still functional and do not billions of rupees of expenditure on them. He said that the Punjab government had become property dealers and Thekedars who were minting billions in construction money by bidding for these contracts through suspicious companies who were actually owned by them. He said that the whole of Lahore had become construction Theka that the Chief Minister and his cabinet were busy either constructing or reconstructing roads and underpasses which had no need for being reconstructed. The project is Canal Road Remodeling from Dharampura underpass to Thokar Niaz Baig and underpass on Lahore ring road at Jhuggian Jodha with estimated cost of Rs 3.95 billion.He warned the government that PTI is going to keep on exposing government???s corruption at all forums and going to go in the courts against them. He said that the priority of this government from the last six years has never been proving health and education to people but to built a few fancy roads and does expensive festivals where records like who hits his heads against maximum walnuts are made and billions of rupees are spend upon them.
Andleeb Abbas Information Sec PTI Punjab said that the Punjab had the highest number of children out of school and after the complete failure of Danish schools the government is busy now diverting funds on roads and plazas which were the best form of making big money. She said that while the teachers of this province were on the roads asking for their salaries to be made and their contracts to be made permanent the Chief Minister was busy launching one scheme on the other of remodeling the same roads which had already eaten amount a huge amount of tax payer???s money. She demanded that the government must explain what was the urgent need of redoing these roads and why was this amount not being spend in paying the poor teachers, the nurses and the lady health workers who salaries of few thousand was being withheld by saying that there was not enough budget by accommodating them in permanent contract,. This wad reflection of the mindset where the kings and queens ruled over the poor public and kept on building palaces and domes and keeping the people deprived of the basic necessities of life. She warned the government that with this suppression of the rights of people very soon PTI will lead protest all over the country to raise a voice against massive corruption and deprivation of the general public.
