<p> PTI UK 2nd elected body had a Strategy and Action Plan meeting on 24th March 2013 at Desi</p> <div>Express Birmingham. PTI West Midlands hosted the meeting.</div> <div> </div> <div>Meeting started at 14:00 hours. General Secretary PTI WM Zahid Pervez welcomed all</div> <div>members. Meeting started with recitation of Quran Kareem. All participants introduce</div> <div>themselves.</div> <div> </div> <div>Elected body from nine regions of UK attended the meeting. Regions include London, East</div> <div>of England, North West, South West, West Midlands, Yorkshire and Humberside, South East,</div> <div>Wales and North East.</div> <div> </div> <div>Agenda of meeting was to discuss short and long term planning for year 2013. Presidents</div> <div>from each region shared key local priorities, issues and concerns, discussions were held</div> <div>around various points, including sharing practices from different regions.</div> <div>Point of emphasis was how PTI UK can assist in fund raising for Pakistan General Election</div> <div>2013 such as Tabdeeli Razakar, Sponsor Sunami {sponsor election candidate}, and Naya</div> <div>Pakistan Fund.</div> <div>PTI has launched a website Naya Pakistan for elections 2013 www.elections.insaf.pk</div> <div> </div> <div>This website has details of election campaign started in Pakistan and overseas.</div> <div> </div> <div>Other salient points were formulation of Media Liaison Committee, presidential level</div> <div>committee.</div> <div> </div> <div>It was emphasized that information secretaries of all nine regions will jointly make a media</div> <div>liaison committee, print and electronic media presentation will be through this committee,</div> <div>if unrelated people will represent PTI, PTI will disown them if their statement contradicts PTI</div> <div>policies.</div> <div> </div> <div>Presidential level committee will make sure events are arranged with consultation of all</div> <div>regions. Any official visit of PTI leadership will be with consultation of president of region.</div> <div>This committee should have representation in office of international affairs.</div>
