PTI leader Ejaz Chaudhary said what a shameful story of incompetence of Sharif Brothers that after five months another petrol crisis is surfacing. Major cities of the Punjab are facing acute shortage of petrol he added. He said Sharif Brothers could not provide gas, petrol and electricity to public not to mention these incompetent Sharif Brothers do not even have water to supply into big cities despite having world best water management system in the country. He said Sharif Brothers are in power for the last 30 years but so far have all mismanaged this country so bad that people of Pakistan are suffering. The entire world is enjoying cheap petroleum prices but here in Pakistan people are facing shortage if this is not mismanagement on the part of ministry of petroleum then nothing else is he added. He said Sharif Brothers have been failed to deliver, their only priority is to make money from mega projects while the country is suffering from crisis to crisis since they have assume the charge.
PTI leader Yasmin Rashid said vehicles began to queue up at petrol pumps in various cities of the Punjab but still minister of petroleum Shahid Khaqan Abbasi is no where to be found. Shahid Khaqan has learned nothing from the previous crisis when the whole country was choked up in January 2015. This shows the experience, governance and crisis management skills of Shahid Khaqan and his masters she added. She said Sharif Brothers are just ripping off poor nation's exchequer poor people pay in full yet they cannot expect them to deliver petrol on time they are being paid for. Sharif Brothers were proven incompetent leaders and they have delivered exactly what proven incompetent leaders would do she added.
PTI Information Secretary Andleeb Abbas said she has never seen such incompetent government in her life as the so-called experienced team of Sharif Brothers is breaking PPP's record of incompetence and bad governance. Petroleum prices are at historic lows and Pakistan is running a shortage of petroleum products she added. She said there is an over supply in international oil market against the demand but Sharif Brothers have not only increased the prices of petroleum products but were not been able to maintain supply in Pakistan. She said no one knows what happened with the inquiry committee which was suppose to investigate Shahid Khaqan Abbasi during January 2015 petrol crisis.
Who will take responsibility for this upcoming petrol crisis and more importantly who will ensure society does not become crippled by such ordeals she questioned? She said unfortunately in Pakistan there is no concept of accountability. Setting up investigation committees is always stunt of face saving she added. She said Sharif Brothers have proven that they cannot govern the country any more as crisis after crisis has exposed their so-called good governance she added.
