PTI Punjab President Ejaz Chaudhary said Barrister Sultan Mahmood???s win in Mirpur by-election is the defeat of corrupt Status Quo. He said this the beginning of the end of the corrupt regime. The Muk-Muka between PPP and PMLN could not secure the seat of Chaudhary Ashraf PMLN backed PPP candidate he added.
He said this win just confirmed the fact that PTI has penetrated right through the heart of Muk-Muka politicians. He said democracy means making personal sacrifices for the nation and future generations and not for personal gains at a cost of others and that is what PPP and PMLN tried to do in Mirpur.
He said both PPP and PMLN should realize now that they cannot fool the nation any more as PTI's 126 day long sit-in has awoken the nation he added.
Ejaz Chaudhary congratulated Barrister Sultan Mahmood and PTI Azad Jammu and Kashmir team on their epic win.
Secretary General Yasmin Rashid even the Prime Minster Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minster of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Chaudhary Abdul Majeed could not secure the seat of their candidate. She said people of Pakistan consider PTI the only political party, which will save Pakistan to save the motherland, which has been brutally corrupted and looted on the name of democracy.
She thanked the people of Mirpur for outvoting Muk-Muka politicians.
Information Secretary Andleeb Abbas said Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari sailed the same boat and none of them would ever get each other, to save each other???s interest. She said election is a flushing process that allows citizen to vote for the best candidates in or rather throw worst candidates out; people of Mirpur have done the same.
She said if the leader is clean and competent, things could be changed in Pakistan. She said a Naya Pakistan is emerging where people will no longer be slaves to the Bhutto or Sharif families. She said Pakistan needs a progressive political party that will take the country into the 21-century and not keep dragging it back into the dark ages as people now have a choice in the form of PTI.
