Shabaz Sharif???s militant wing takes another life | Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf

Dr. Yasmin Raashid advisor to PTI Chairman said its not hard to understand how morally corrupt Punjab police has become and it is sad that after a poor woman set herself ablaze in Muzafarghar as she was gang raped by infamous Punjab police. The poor woman was the police informer and her only mistake was that she lodged a complaint against local SHO for snatching cash and gold rings from her she added. She said this complaint made SHO furious and he gang raped the poor woman along with his filthy police constables. This is not the first gang rape incidence where the police officials were involved she added. Another poor and helpless female ended her life after failing to find justice she added. She questioned would the court ever be able to do justice to her even after her suicide or the sick-minded police officials will go scot-free as usual? It is inhuman to treat females, these sick-minded police officials must be treated strictly so that others must learn lesson from it she added. She asked from Chief Minister Shabaz Sharif how many lives would be lost at the hands of morally corrupt Punjab police and only then CM would introduce police reforms in the province.

PTI Information Secretary Andleeb Abbas said this tragedy is overwhelming and deserves action at the highest level from the government and a mere notice from the CM is not enough. What happened to the hundreds of cases that CM has taken notice of in the last so many years she questioned? The poor woman did it because she was convinced that she would not get justice in the present rotten system, which is corrupt to the core she added. Andleeb Abbas said if the woman had been treated justly, she would have been alive; her suicide depicts the image of poor justice, and pathetic law enforcement system of Punjab. The local DSP has confessed that the women lodged the complaint against SHO on September 11, 2015 she added. She said the DSP should have been taken to the task for not entertaining the complaint; we need to awake lethargic Punjab police. Police involvement in rape incidents is stigma on the face of Khadam A Alla, the political boss of Punjab police who even after 35 years of rule in the Punjab has failed to evolve a system where complaints are addressed without the interference of the powerful ruling elite she added. She said her heart goes out to the victim???s family. Shabaz Sahrif???s notice and financial assistance cannot make up for the poor and devastated family.
