While the Army is worried about the over all security situation of the country, the Punjab government has released Rs364.4 million for the Sharif family???s security in the Jati Umra she added. She said poor public is left to die at the hands of terrorists while for the Royal Family security 2,751 police officials have been appointed. Some Rs54 million were released in September to purchase 14 vehicles for the security squad of Khadam I Alla. She said Sharif Brothers are ruthlessly using public money on VVIP protocols. Shameless rulers are enjoying luxury style at the cost of poor man's tax money she added. She said Sharif Brothers have nothing better to do for the poor masses of the country. Country???s security situation is not their headache, as they just want luxury and VIP protocols on public expense she added. When will be the time when Prime Minister and his Chief Minster brother will leave their royal habits, she questioned?
PTI Information Secretary Andleeb Abbas said she is not surprised at all at this gross misuse taxpayer???s money. The so-called Khadam I Alla and his Prime Minster Brother can easily afford to hire private security guards. But why would they waste their money from their pockets when the public money is at their disposal she added. Last year Nawaz Sharif has acquired two bulletproof vehicles for his security, cars that have cost the national exchequer over Rs224 million she added. She said the taxpayers are already overburdened by the unnecessary government expenditures on the extravagance and security of Royal Family. There is hardly any day when we do not see hundreds of security and traffic wardens standing on the roads so that VVIPs or their progeny can travel safely and swiftly she added. She said Sharif Brothers are abusing their power and sucking the country dry of its resources, whether it is money, power or police. She said who cares for the poor public when food can be transported on helicopters for Royal Family. Rs364.4 million for their security is just equal to a tip for the Sharif Brothers.
Pakistan is such an unfortunate country where Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari are symbols of democracy she added. Sharif Brothers are advised to rethink and take steps to curtail their luxury expenses before it is too late she said. The public cannot bear their burden any more and it may not be long when they will be held accountable for public justice. She said if Sharif Brothers are so insecure in Pakistan then why do not they live in their foreign mansions.
