PTI leader Ejaz Chaudhary said the first question nation wants to ask from Sharif Brothers is how were they able to contest the elections in 2013 being defaulter in 2013 as Shabaz Sharif claimed that Sharif Family has settled Rs5.22 billion by December 2014 under the head of all loans, mark-up, cost of fund and other charges he added. He said the second question is from which source Sharif Brothers got those Rs5.22 billion rupees when Nawaz Sharif owns only 1.842 billion and Shabaz Sharif own assets worth Rs142.2 million as per ECP record. The nation also wants to know why the 10-year-old loans were settled by Sharif Brothers within six months after assuming power in center he questioned? He said the entire Pakistan knows Sharif???s have been corrupt for decades and they do not want NAB to challenge their corruption. If NAB position stands validated then the Prime Minster and his brother should be send behind the bars for lying to the nation he added.
PTI leader Yasmin Rashid said Shahbaz Sharif who used to promise stern action against Asif Ali Zardari and his companions over corruption and wanted to rip open their bellies and drag them in the streets to make them return looted money is himself soaked in corruption. And Shabaz Sharif???s son Hamza Sharif is preaching that corruption is bound to happen in Pakistan and NAB has no authority to question their corruption she added. She said the entire status quo has started ganging up against NAB be it Sharif Brothers or Asif Zaradri. Why National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq is so worried and wants to file reference against NAB is because NAB is challenging his masters she added. She said Ayaz Sadiq holds a very high office which demands him to stay neutral and above the fray of party politics.
PTI Information Secretary Andleeb Abbas said NAB was ok when it was not doing anything and not questioning ruling elite???s corruption and now it is showing the true face of rulers to nation so they have ganged up against NAB. Unfortunately the system is not delivering. Sharif Brothers were found accused of loan default in the Hudaibiya Paper Mills scandal by the NAB during the scrutiny of their nomination papers in May 2013 election she added. She said the NAB found that the Sharif brothers were accused in the case of loan default of Rs3,486 million rupees in the Hudaibiya Paper Mills case but unfortunately the returning officer gave clean chit to Sharif Brothers and they made their way to parliament. In any democratic country the sitting PM and CM would have resigned just because their names came in the list of alleged corrupts, She added. She said she hopes NAB will see these corrupt faces to conclusion under this fresh drive to eliminate corruption from Pakistan as people want to see big fish taken to task to deter corruption.
