- Khalid Khurshid Khan's convoy was stopped by erecting a barrier and fired upon.
- Fortunately, Khalid Khurshid Khan and his companions were safe.
- Gilgit-Baltistan stands on the threshold of worst instability and chaos.
- The state machinery engaged in shameful political engineering seems to be completely failed and ineffective in maintaining public order.
- Tehreek-e-Insaf Spokesman said, "If there is any harm caused to anyone responsible for Tehreek, including Khalid Khurshid Khan, the government will be responsible."
