Matter of Re-Arrest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf President Chaudhry Parvez Elahi

• After the Lahore High Court, despite the clear order of the Islamabad High Court, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf President Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has been rearrested.
• The cruel and reprehensible arrest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chaudhry Parvez Ealhi is an official attack on the judiciary.
• Requesting an emergency notice from the Chief Justice of Pakistan to protect the basic structure of the constitution and the dignity and independence of the judiciary.
• After Chairman Imran Khan and Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi, the brutal arrest of PTI President Chaudhry Parvez Elahi against the law is a blatant attack on the independence and constitutional status of the judiciary.
• The nation salutes all the leaders and workers including Chairman Imran Khan, Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi and President Chaudhry Parvez Elahi for their bravery and steadfastness against the state brutality and extra-constitutional oppression.
• Irrelevant to the Constitution, after killing civil liberties and violating the basic constitutional rights of citizens, the state elements who want lawlessness, are attacking the independence of the judiciary.
• The constitution gives the judiciary in the state a completely independent and independent status and obliges the state machinery to fully implement the judicial decisions.
• The desire to force the judiciary to obey extra-constitutional and democratic forces and to turn the judiciary into a machine for justifying desires against the constitution and the law is not new.
• Tehreek-e-Insaf fought alongside the entire nation to liberate its judiciary from the tyranny of a brutal dictator.
• Chairman Imran Khan faced imprisonment in the nationwide movement for judiciary reforms, while Tehreek-e-Insaf workers endured state oppression.
• The forces that subjected Tehreek-e-Insaf to the worst state reproach and completely enslaved the media are now engaged in breaking the back of the judiciary in a very brazen and bold manner.
• The survival and security of Pakistan lies in the supremacy of the Constitution and the complete independence of the judiciary.
• Tehreek-e-Insaf is not willing to attack the dignity and independence of the judiciary even in the environment of worst state oppression and criminal deviance from the constitution.
• Honorable Chief Justice is the guardian of the independence and dignity of the judiciary, as the head of the institution is responsible for protecting its status and dignity.
• The Chief Justice should immediately take notice of the state invasion against the judiciary in the form of open deviance of judicial decisions by the state machinery.
• The legal community and the civil society should be mobilized at the national level to defend the constitutional status and independence of the judiciary and for this purpose, devise measures to protect the fruits of the unprecedented national struggle in the past from being lost.
• Tehreek-e-Insaf will take all possible measures in the light of the vision of Chairman Imran Khan to defend the constitutional status and independence of the judiciary.
